Using Jesus
Someone attending the IVCF Urbana missions conference in Saint Louis has this observation on general session speakers. Some are using Jesus to advance a cause. Others are using a cause to advance Jesus. Question: which kind of person am I, and which kind of cause is ATFP? Am I using Jesus to promote ATFP, or am I using ATFP to promote Jesus? Also, think about how to apply these questions in your own lives. Do you use Jesus to advance your interests, or do you use your interests to advance Jesus?
Themocracy
I think it is good to do everything for the glory of the L’ord not to advance the cause or career of anyone. I think what you are doing is a noble and very brave response to Islamic terrorism. Maybe if there were more Christians like you our world would be less messy and bloody!
