Muslims in general and terrorists in particular believe in God, His Word, and in prayer. The terrorists believe that God is on their side. They will interpret a movement praying for their repentance as a challenge to their spiritual correctness after the manner of Elijah on Mount Carmel with the priests of Baal (1 Kings 18). When they start having dreams and visions of Jesus, they will know they have been wrong.
